The VELORA-Eco aroTHERM plus heat pump excels particularly in older buildings, often still equipped with radiators and high-temperature heating systems: it reaches flow temperatures of up to 55 °C, enabling efficient heating with existing radiators. It thus represents a high-performance and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional oil or gas heating systems, especially for climate-conscious renovation projects.

Comfort is also a priority. The aroTHERM plus provides domestic hot water up to 70 °C and adapts flexibly to individual needs.

Its quiet operation is a major advantage: with a sound pressure level of only 46 dB(A) in night mode, the aroTHERM plus does not disturb either the occupants or the neighborhood. At three meters, the noise level is comparable to the discreet ticking of a wristwatch, ideal for densely populated residential areas. The aroTHERM

plus is intuitively controlled using the sensoCOMFORT system controller and its high-resolution graphic display. For even greater convenience, the heat pump can be easily controlled via smartphone or tablet thanks to the myVELORA connect internet module (optional).

To achieve even greater energy savings, the aroTHERM plus can be integrated into smart grids. This system connects the entire heating installation and enables intelligent energy management. Combined with a photovoltaic system, it is even possible to generate your own electricity, making heating even more economical and sustainable.

The VWZ MEH 97/6 hydraulic unit efficiently assists the aroTHERM plus heat pump in the production of domestic hot water, guaranteeing a continuous and reliable supply of hot water. It also provides valuable assistance during screed drying, optimally preparing the screed and preventing uneven drying – an indispensable asset on construction or renovation sites.

Among its main features is a modulating electric auxiliary heater with a maximum power of 9 kW. This auxiliary heater ensures a constant and sufficient supply of heat, even during periods of high demand. A 3-way diverter valve allows for seamless switching between domestic hot water production and heating, while a 3-bar safety valve provides added protection and safety.

The integrated 10-liter expansion vessel guarantees system stability by effectively compensating for pressure variations in the heating circuit. For intuitive operation and easy navigation, the unit is equipped with a DIA system featuring a backlit display with clear text. This allows for quick and precise control of the heat pump under all circumstances.
